From the North:
Take 95 South, exit at Newington/Fort Belvoir Exit (166A). You will be on Fairfax County Parkway. Turn left on John J. Kingman Road. Continue and make a left onto Beulah Street (Rt. 613). The Clubhouse will be on your left.

If going south on Route 1, turn right on Fairfax County Parkway. Continue and make a right onto John J. Kingman Road. At the third light, turn left onto Beulah Street. The clubhouse will be on your left.

From the South:

2012 Gifts That Give Hope

Operation Renewed Hope Foundation is participating in the Second Annual Arlington Gifts That Give Hope Alternative Gift Fair on Saturday, December 8, from 10am – 2pm at Calvary United Methodist Church at 2315 S. Grant Street in Arlington.

An alternative gift fair is a change from traditional store-bought gift-giving, and instead provides meaningful gifts that change lives in the community and directly benefits our organization. Shoppers can support Operation Renewed Hope Foundation by giving a gift of $250 for a rent subsidy, $50 for groceries or $25 for public transportation. Your gift recipient will receive a beautiful holiday card explaining the donation made in their honor. This year’s fair will feature gift-giving opportunities from 15 participating non-profit organizations. Gifts range from $5 to $250.

Children will have the opportunity to learn the true meaning of giving while shopping at the Children’s Gift Fair featuring $5 gift items perfect for teachers and grandparents. Santa will stop by the fair from 11-1:30 to visit with children. There will be face-painting, crafts, snacks and live holiday music.

Fall Golf Tournament at Army Navy Country Club

The Army Navy Country Club (ANCC) agreed to host ORHF’s second golf tournament fundraiser. The Arlington course is a beautiful 54 holes and the staff is phenomenally receptive to our cause. Established in 1924, Army Navy Country Club is a private, member-owned recreation facility. The Club draws its membership primarily from Active Duty and Retired commissioned U.S. Military Officers and Warrant Officers. These officers represent all services and range in rank from Second Lieutenant and Ensign to General and Admiral. ANCC is also home to a number of civilian members many of whom have served in our nation’s government.

In accordance with the ANCC mission statement, ANCC is to “…provide, at moderate expense, recreational facilities at, or near, the National Capital for, and to promote social intercourse among those citizens, military and civilian, who are bound together by the fraternal and patriotic spirit of serving the best interests and efficiency of the National Defense.”

About the Army Ten-Miler and Military District of Washington

The Army Ten-Miler is produced by the Military District of Washington (MDW).
The 2012 race is under the command of Maj. Gen. Michael S. Linnington.

The MDW serves as the Army Forces Component and core staff element of the Joint Force Headquarters National Capital Region to conduct operations that deter, prevent, and respond to threats aimed at the National Capital Region; and conducts world-class ceremonial, musical and special events in support of our Nation’s leadership. Over 600 Soldiers from 3rd Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) volunteer race weekend.
